Eye of Horus pendant ONE OF A KIND The sun and moon were equated with the eyes of the Egyptian god Horus. The moon being his left eye was blinded in his mythological struggle against evil. This eye, having been healed and restored, became "the good eye," a widely used symbol for "good health" and "well-being." Julie Glassman Hayde designs and makes her custom cloisonne enamel jewelry, semi-precious stone, silver, gold and copper designer fine art jewelry from her home studio in Western Colorado. She has been making custom one of a kind fine art jewelry for 23 years and in business for 17 years. With the exception of one class she is a self taught enamelist. Her work is a fusion of enamel, silver, gold, copper and semi-precious stones into miniature paintings that bring bold accents of color to the human canvas on which they are worn.
